A group of very special people at the Illinois Department of Public Aid gave a great deal of time and effort in making unique wreaths to raise money for the Bureau of Youth Services during the 2002 holiday season.

Once the wreaths were completed, they hung in a hallway at Churchill Road where employees, consultants and visitors could vote (at 25 cents per vote) for their favorites. After winners were declared, a silent auction was held to raise additional funds.

Two caught our eye and made their way to Abator offices. The first graced the door in Pittsburgh and made the Illinois EPA Newsletter because it was decorated with recycled computer parts ... how appropriate!

The other (picture's still in someone's camera) went to St. Louis. Besides being beautiful, it was the top vote winner and raised the most during the silent auction. It was created by Emma Turner, an IT consultant Abator has been proud to represent since 1984.
