Abator attracts and retains contractors through several means. The most common is referrals from other Abator-represented consultants.

Secondary resources are gained via this purposefully simplistic website. We also advertise in industry-related publications.  Abator does NOT post job openings, seek resumes or recruit from job posting web sites.  This ensures that we know the people we choose to represent, and that they know us.

Our process includes rating each skill of each consultant through interviews and reference checking.  Skill ratings, completed references and experiential information are tracked and continuously updated in Abator’s SAM Enterprise-wide System.

When a new request is received, Abator’s project staffing group uses SAM to identify the consultants who meet or exceed the technical skills requested.  The next step is to make contact with consultants to discuss the request, determine if they meet the qualifications, confirm willingness to be submitted and negotiate rate.

  • No consultant is ever submitted on a client request if Abator has not received the consultant’s permission.

  • No consultant is submitted to a client unless Abator has received satisfactory supervisory references and/or client performance evaluations.

  • Abator follows the client guidelines for submission.  If no guidelines exist, a formal quotation is generated from SAM, along with the current resume for submission.

Abator maintains contact with the consultant and client during the decision process – principally phone interviews and generates all submission and contract documentation through SAM.
